Sebby’s Studio Privacy Policy

This document outlines the policies Sebby’s Studio for Art Therapy has in place related to the privacy policy I use for my clients. Please read this document to understand how I, Sarah Fraske, Art Therapist and Artist at Sebby’s Studio will conduct myself in relation to the protection of the artwork, how we interact if we see each other in public, and what types of security I use to protect your privacy. This policy is put in place to protect you, the client, as well as myself, to protect our privacy and confidentiality.

If you have any questions for me regarding this document and my privacy policies, I encourage you to bring them up to me when we meet, or you can always email me at my secure and encrypted email address sebbysstudio@protonmail.com.

Storage of the Artwork

Physical Artwork: All physical artwork will be stored in a safe, locked space during the duration of our therapy relationship and then decided together what to do with it during our final sessions. If we were to end our relationship suddenly with no closure, I will hold on to the artwork for 6 months and if it is not claimed, I will destroy the work. This policy happened in lieu of any signed agreements in regard to the sharing the artwork.

Pictures of the Artwork: Pictures will only be taken of the artwork if a Sebby’s Studio Media Release form is signed. Any digital pictures will be stored in a secure folder on my computer until used for supervision/promotional purposes and then deleted.

Intake Forms and Therapy Notes

Any paperwork dealing with the therapeutic relationship between myself and a client will be stored in a secure file for 7 years. With any paperwork done with any client under the age of 18, the paperwork will be held until the client’s age turns 18, and then 7 years beyond that.

Group Art Therapy

If you participate in any Group Art Therapy, you promise to keep artwork and any discussions during the group art therapy private and confidential.
